Lee Tae-sung (47), president of the Korea Table Tennis Association, also showed his love for table tennis at the 2025 World Table Tennis Championships held in Doha, Qatar. After being elected in the by-election in November last year, Lee visited Doha from the second day of the championship and gave enthusiastic support to the players.

Chairman Lee had a big love for table tennis. The CEO of Seah Holdings, Lee formed a relationship with the association in 2022 through his wife, Chae Moon-sun, former vice chairman of the association. Since then, he has contributed to the association's financial stabilization as an official sponsor of the association, and established Seah Academy and Seah Table Tennis Team at the level of the association to evenly contribute to discovering and nurturing youth players and strengthening the competitiveness of the vocational teams. In February last year, he visited the 2024 Busan World Table Tennis Championships with Chae and shouted "Korea" as his voice burst.
He didn't just shout out "love for table tennis." When Jang Woo-jin (30, Seahtakgudan), the ace in the men's national team, was unable to find a team to which he belongs, Seah Group sponsored him to help ensure that he would not have any difficulties preparing for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Seah Group is supporting Lee Si-on (29), a female player who passed the national team selection match, but does not have a team to which he belongs. 먹튀검증

Park Sung-joon, manager of Seah Group, and Kim Min-seok, manager of Seah Besteel Sports Business Division, who are in charge of important positions within the group, were given the positions of the head of Seah Table Tennis Team and the secretary general of the association, respectively. Previously, there were 10 national team members in men's and women's teams, but by expanding the number of applicants, the organization picked 10 additional men's and women's teams as standing members this year.

Lee accompanied Chae at the Doha Asian Games, giving his support and interest to the national team. Throughout his stay in Doha, he focused all his efforts on encouraging players, going back and forth between table tennis courts and lodging without any schedule such as sightseeing. To help players concentrate only on the game, he prepared ice packs considering the hot weather in Qatar, and he also bought chocolate as a gift to the team.

Naturally, the Korean team has high support. When Shin Yu-bin (copyright) and Yoo Han-na (Posco International) secured a medal by beating Japan's Satsuki Odo 3-1 in the quarterfinals of women's doubles at the Lusail Sports Arena on Tuesday, they rushed to the chairperson of the stand and hugged Lee.

Jang Woo-jin said, "I still remember my first meeting with the chairman. Don't pay attention to your surroundings and just do your own. He said he would help you do so, but he really kept his words."
